The Felin settlements that spawn on Savannah planets are Villages and are the most common. PPS A correction: I have just realised that there is a difference between a 'Town' and a 'Village'.
Starbound felin mod#
If you have just installed the Felin mod and you are looking at local systems then you won't find any and will have to travel further.
PS It may be worth noting that the basic makeup of a planet is determined once that system is visible in the navigation console. In general looking for Savannah planets around Temperate stars will increase your chances.Īlso, installing Erisss's More Planet Info will help as you can determine whether Felins are present without going down to the planet, just high orbit will do, like this:

Also certain mods will affect planet generation, like Frackin' Universe which I do not use. Note that this is using Starbound 1.3.3 on Windows, you may get different results if using a different version of Starbound or a Mac.
